Which dance move is your favorite?! 💃 Mine is the last one where I get to twist my wrists in the air. It reminds me of a Spanish dance flamenco that my Grandma loved when I was little. She took me to Spain every year and we pretended that we were dancers, I am so fond of these memories!!

🇪🇸Anyways who would have thought I will start talking about Spain in my caption related to Wednesday lol. Well actually tho Spain and Barcelona is still so close to my heart. Because of the childhood memories and also because that’s where my favorite artist @itslopez lives. Hopefully one day I can go and meet her, that would be so amazing!🙈

🖤Remember friends to keep working at your dream every day! I saw so many amazing reels in this format from my other favorite @meelayraydog and so I decided to give it a shot at making one myself. Even tho my version is so waaay behind to what she can do, I almost can’t believe that I pulled it off! It makes me feel like I am growing every day. One of my greatest fear is that my art would stop growing one day and I become complacent. So completing this video is truly the best feeling ever! And I would love to make more to get better and better at gesture drawing and achieving the look of flow.🪷

Little did my 12 year old “Megara obsessed” me thought I would be able to draw something like this one day. 👏🏼

Fun fact, I knew “I won’t say I am in love” word to word in English long before being able to speak the English language at all. 🙈

In fact, that was the very first Disney heroine song I memorized when I was about ten years old.

What also helped is that I had Disneys Hercules in cassette in Hungarian (anyone else? Disney cassettes we’re the best!) and would listen to it every single night for years…🎶

I remember so vividly, singing Megs song in middle school all by myself because at the time, in Hungary where I grew up, there were no Disney fanatics to be found anywhere nearby. I was all alone with my princess obsession. Crazy times.. 💔🤣

Another fun memory is that I was so fascinated with the drawings of her facial expressions, I made a collage of my favorite ones (on windows in Paint haha) and printed them out to be my notebook cover in sixth grade. 📓

When in wood carving class we had to make something, I cut a silhouette and painted a miniature wood version of Meg. The list goes on… 🪵

I have a feeling she will need to be a sticker asap and even a keychain or something more! What else should I make her to be? Gosh I love her so much!! 😍

🌸For this piece, the first step was to figure out which outfit of Anastasia to use as inspiration. You guys helped out so much with voting on my stories for this one. This outfit of hers is also one of my favorite! 😍 In the beginning stages of sketching her I had a little bit of trouble figuring out how to make this look modern though. 💛It felt like all my ideas just made her look like the original. But I think when I added the pattern texture on the bows and see through blouse pulled everything together. 💙Do you agree? How do you like the headband with the pearls? 👑

Belle slightly annoyed me as a kid and I never knew why until this week when I watched Beauty and the Beast while drawing Belle to be inspired.. aaand now as a 27 year old I definitely know myself more. And I totally noticed Belles personality is so similar to mine! I was crying by realizing that I could relate to her so much like never before. Its because when I was younger I constantly wanted to be someone else, it was harder to accept who I truly was. So cool now Belle became one of my favorites so unexpectedly.😍

When I saw her daydream ✨walking in her bedroom brushing her hair with that fork I was mortified for a second because I never even realized before she is still using the fork before bed time!!🤣 . Like omg I must have seen the movie a 1000 times and how did I miss that!!😅 To burn it in my brain and because Sebastian was so hilarious I had to pick this moment to draw. I had tons of fun! 😍 . Also I feel like most of the credit if not all on this one goes straight to the genius people coming up with her concept and animating her. 👏🏼 . I took a shot from the movie directly and used it as a reference. When coloring I decided to use watercolor this time to put some interesting twists on the style.
