Guys I totally forgot to post the final artwork for this piece and I am so happy I remembered just now🙈 . This was a redraw of my very first original digital art piece from one year ago. While we are getting hyped for Mermay, I thought I’d show how much learning and hard work will always pay off. And I cannot wait to redraw this piece again next year👏🏼🔥 . 🥰Story of how I got started: I remember so vividly how excited I was to receive my tablet from my husband for Christmas last year and dove right in to make my first piece. 👏🏼 . 💞Of course I immediately got so frustrated because digital Art looks like it’s just erasing layers turning into magical art with a hint. But it’s well.. a lot more than that 🤣 . I soon learned that it’s gonna take countless hours, frustrations and trying over and over till maybe one day in a million years if I work very hard I will be able to bring my vision to life. 🥰 . 🧚‍♀️Here in my imagination that day a year ago was a fairy, holding a spark in her hand with a magical pink sunset and some fiery torches and palm trees around her on a beach. 🏝 Well you can see my first shot at it! 🤣 . Happy to say that now a year later I am so so amazed and excited how much I grew and learned. 😭🙈 Even then, the learning and the journey is still only beginning but I am so excited to soak up and cherish every single second of it! 💞 . ❣️❣️❣️And you guys are the best for sticking around for every second of it and I feel so incredibly lucky and blessed.
