Eye: Gaby Nieuwenhuys We've opened our eyes Oil on wood 20x20cm Story of Gaby: The past 2 or 3 years have been a real rollercoaster.  I think my story will even be unbelievable for many.  At the moment I am really looking for who I am and I am learning to become more loyal to myself.  Geez, how do you actually discover who you are if you are being told from an early age what you are not doing well and only few people show you what they like about you.  It is also difficult to admit people emotionally, because there are quite a few people who theoretically know how to articulate everything perfectly, but in practice they show the opposite. Fortunately, I have a great coach who helps me enormously with this and I appear to have some very dear friends who support me enormously in the choices I make.  The most difficult, but I think also the best choice is to live 1 year celibate, so that I can focus better on myself and also filter who are good for me and who are not.  This year, a few more big dreams of mine are going to come true: I'm going to a lecture by the world-renowned Jordan Peterson, clinical psychologist and professor at the University of Toronto.  I have a reasonably good seat (category 1, Row 6 RAI Amsterdam). I also really hope for a meet & greet with him so that I can thank him for the huge impact he has made on my life.
