It fits perfectly for example 1-3 chinchillas, 1-4 rats, 1 ferret or 2 guinea pigs. They all will be totally in love in their new home. It's made of waterproof polyester, very soft mink-y fleece, upholstery sponge and carrier tape which is used as a hook to hang them in a cage. Those materials are antiallergic and safe for your animal - you don't need to worry if your pet is a fleece chewer.
