This is a PDF DK baby blanket KNITTING PATTERN.
This beautiful baby’s blanket is knitted with a lovely soft DK yarn from Sirdar Hayfield, in a curves and lace pattern. The nylon content in this yarn makes this blanket soft and warm. It is also machine washable which is perfect for babies with busy mums. The pattern is fairly easy and is laid out with fully explained abbreviations, written instructions and graphs. It would be suited to a beginner looking to move on to intermediate rated patterns.
This is a lovely gift for that special baby!
Measurements: Approx 30" x 36" after blocking.
Machine wash on gentle cycle, for best results dry flat.

Notes:
The patterns are charted and written out in full. The charts are worked from right to left for even rows and left to right for odd rows, as numbered. When working with the charts, follow the legends for each pattern.
The blanket can be knitted in any DK (UK weight) or equivalent yarn but check meterage and your own tension to ensure there is enough to finish the blanket as some yarns can be slightly thinner or thicker depending on the brand producing a difference in size.
The pattern is designed so that you can add or subtract, in width or height, a pattern repeat to acquire the desired size.
This particular blanket will definitely need to be fully blocked/pressed in order to open up the lacework pattern.
