The musk deer jet is the musk gland of the fanged musk deer. The animal is listed in the Red Book, so kabarozhya jet is still the most expensive drug of animal origin.
The use of musk deer jet for medical purposes has been popular since ancient times. Musk was especially loved in the East and in India.
The drug is taken orally for neurasthenic condition, hysteria, fainting, anemia, as a general ionizing drug.
Properties of musk deer jet:
Musk deer jet is rich in its chemical composition: cholesterol esters, fatty acids, waxes, aromatic and steroid compounds.
