This heirloom hand knitted traditional Shetland shawl is my own design called the "Jackie" shawl, named after my sister.
Natural white heirloom shawl consisting of a border lace, then knitted inwards with Cat's Paw, Horseshoe, Roundels and Diamond patterns, finishing with a knitted-in Madeira Pattern centre.
The yarn is 100% pure Supreme Shetland wool and is light as air. Fine enough to fit through a wedding ring. This is a lovely gift for that special baby and christenings. Bear in mind these shawls were originally used for weddings and then kept for the baby's christening.
Measurements: Approx 48" square (120cms).
To dress the shawl, hand wash only, squeeze gently, roll in a towel to remove excess water, dry flat, or block out fully and leave to air dry.
