ABOUT THIS PATTERN Save when you buy the patterns together! This bundle of patterns includes step-by-step photo instructions and full-size pattern pieces to make a mini baby doll in a romper and a sleeping basket. You may choose to make either a sleeping baby with a pacifier, or an awake one, or make them both to have twins! Add a cozy knot hat for keeping your baby warm. You will find the doll very quick and easy to make. The hat is removable, the romper is not removable. The doll easily fits in a pocket and it’s perfect to take along for a walk or for a trip. The doll does not stand without support. The basket can accommodate one or two dolls. The bedding includes everything your doll needs for a good night’s sleep: a mattress, a pillow and a quilted blanket. The basket is perfect for beginners: no bias tapes, minimum of hand sewing, and the sides and bottom are made with only one pattern piece for quick assembling. The sides of the basket are higher at the front to make sleeping even cozier. This basket is the easiest and the quickest in the range of my sleeping baskets. The size of the basket is perfect for carrying a mini doll made with my pattern or other small dolls. SIZE: Baby doll: 14.5 cm (5-3/4″) Basket: 11 x 17 cm (4-3/8″ x 6-3/4″) SERIES: The doll and the basket are part of my MINI doll series. RECOMMENDED FABRICS: – lightweight cotton (quilting cotton) for baby doll, basket and bedding; – wool or wool-blend felt for hair and pacifier; – cotton jersey for knot hat. SKILL LEVEL: The pattern is suitable for those who have a basic knowledge of machine sewing and who are familiar with basic hand stitches.
