This bundle of patterns includes step-by-step photo instructions and full-size pattern pieces to make two mini stuffed animals: an elephant and a giraffe. The elephant is wearing overalls, the giraffe is wearing a romper. Both garments are fully lined, close with snaps and you will find them easy to make in spite of their small size, using my technique. The giraffe's tufts of hair on the horns are made of felting wool (roving), but they can be replaced with ready-made felt balls, pom poms, or beads. The softies easily fit in a pocket and they are perfect to take along for a walk or for a trip. Please note: the softies do not stand without support. SIZE: Elephant: 15 cm (6") Giraffe: without horns 16 cm (6-1/4"), with horns 17.5 cm (6-7/8") SERIES: These dolls are part of my MINI doll series. RECOMMENDED FABRICS: lightweight cotton (quilting cotton) SKILL LEVEL: The pattern is suitable for those who have a basic knowledge of machine sewing and who are familiar with basic hand stitches.
