Which Year is your favorite? 🫶🏼😍 ✨Art Journey Story Time: 🦄2019 Christmas- I got an iPad and decided to dive all in to art. I have been wanting to do this since I was little and always have been fascinated with cartoon art. This was my chance, even though I was 26 years old, I knew I am at beginning of an amazing adventure. 🌷At this stage I wasn’t truly aware of facial and body proportions, but tried my very best every day after getting home from work. Most of my art took ages to complete, around 20 hours. 🔮2020 After a year of drawing I started getting the hang of digital art and even got some consistent commissions! I wrote lists of my favorite artists to learn from and continued to study my favorite art styles. I felt like I am getting closer to have my own style, from putting together all the different skills I have learned from my heroes. 🌸2021 I decided to start a modern princesses with drinks series which became some of my first artwork that got attention. I was so proud and excited and continued to paint new princesses each month. I even got to start a Patreon with my stickers at the end of the year which was a dream come true. 🐛2022 My first year of being a freelancer and doing art full time. It’s been an amazing and wild journey. As I found Popshop Live I became part of a community that loves princesses and art as much as I do which is such an amazing unexpected blessing. This year I feel like was all about believing that I am here and daring to dream more. 🦋2023 I feel that this new chapter will be filled with new and more amazing magic as I continue to find my voice and grow my skills. I hope to practice more scene based artwork next to characters and start telling stories. I also hope to get into making some of my own pin designs and hopefully organize a kickstarter.
