80x80cm Mediums: Canvas, oils, gold leaf. Hand painted. This circle of Love & Life symbol came to my mind one day and so the art piece was born. This painting is about Love, as all of my Art pieces are always about Love. Toh birds are the ancient symbol of the visible world and the world hidden from the eyes. The circle in the middle - it is a symbol of Unity and a Circle of Life, the birds are united by the red string, it is the sting they created and they're bound by it. Butterflies are the symbol of Transformation, Soul and Immortality, it is an eternal Soul's offering, attached to the red string in the middle, from one bird to another. The golden background I chose for when the light falls on the painting, it reflects back warm & cozy golden light, the light that comes from the heart and that warms hearts. Besides it fills all the room with a magic golden shine, when the light falls directly on it! For me personally, gold also reminds of the ever shining, fluid, changing, creating high-frequency shimmering tapestry of Life.
