I don’t tire of painting the view down our street. For fun, I tried to set up a time lapse video but it crashed into the road. Our famous new music violinist neighbor stopped to chat, and we talked about his studies with Jascha Heifetz (no kidding), and he said he liked what I was up to which made me happy. What I’m chasing with this landscape nonsense isn’t so much a picture of a place, it’s the light and color in a particular day.
