Aran weight ribbed hat, green alpaca and wool, S size

A classic Aran weight hat hand knitted in double rib of my own design, with a turn-up brim and a faux rabbit fur pompom. The pompom is fastened inside the hat with some elastic wrapped round a button for easy removal when washing. Very soft and warm yarn. Alpaca yarn is spun from two strands in a traditional combination of 65% wool and 35% alpaca. This mixture brings out the alpaca's silky surface, while the wool helps garments keep their shape better. The fibres used are untreated, which means they are not exposed to any chemical treatment prior to being dyed which highlights the fibres' natural properties, while also providing better shape and texture quality. I chose this particular yarn because it is perfect for cheery, snug, winter hats and accessories. This hat will fit a small/teen size head. Remove pompom before washing. Hand wash in lukewarm water, wrap in a towel to get rid of excess water and then dry flat.
