I live in a lovely little village in Dunkeld, Scotland. My name is Patricia and I have been knitting since my mother taught me to knit around 60 years ago. My aim is to supply fine yarns to knitters across the UK (and beyond) at very reasonable prices and to knit fine shawls, scarves, blankets and christening gowns. I use my skills as a knitter and my knowledge of yarns to run Knitr. What can be better than working at something you love? One thing I can’t resist doing is squishing any new yarn that comes in to check out the softness and quality, and I can sit for ages just gazing at the beautiful colours! I also love to design my own knitting patterns. I get my inspiration from the area I live, especially the colours of the changing seasons and the textures and colours of the materials I use; these all come together to let me create my own unique designs. When customers get in touch, I love to answer their queries. It gives me the chance to integrate with them.
